Relaxed and Happy
I think of myself as a happy positive person, but sometimes life can be troubling.
So, I thought why not sharing my daily techniques to help me be a calm happy positive person.
Do you feel antsy sometimes, or can’t sleep or have other life time’s events that keep you up at night?
You are not alone, I am there with you. At least until recently. I am doing much better now and I give partial credit to a new App I am using.
I was doing some research to find some natural aids, that could help me become more calm, relaxed and hopefully sleep better as well. That is when I came across Calm. So, now when I get home from my job, I take 10-15 minutes to Meditate before starting my home chores.
Let me share with you what I like about Calm and think it is totally worth spending the money on it.
The Calm App comes with 100+ guided meditations – for beginners, intermediate and advanced users. The guided meditations are covering anxiety, focus, stress, sleep, relationships and more in the premium version.
I took advantage of the free 7-day trial, and after that bought the premium version.
It also has sleep stories, which I really enjoy (BTW you are never too old for sleep stories in case you did not know), which helps me unwind and fall asleep faster.
One of the new features they just recently released is Calm body, which are 10-minute guided video lessons on mindful movement and gentle stretching.
And if you like relaxing music, they have endless hours of music tracks engineered to help you focus, relax or fall asleep.
I came to really love the Calm App, no matter where I am at, I always have access to it on my phone so I can do a quick 10-15 meditation session or have some relaxing music on to calm me down.
It keeps track of sessions you have accomplished, I just completed my 45th session.
As well as keeping track of your overall achievements.
